Your old battery has value. Return your core for credit — it lowers your net cost and keeps lead out of landfills.
How core credit works
When you buy a refurbished battery, you can return your old battery (the "core") for credit at $0.22 per pound. Check the "I have a core to return" option in the configurator and the credit is calculated automatically from the battery's weight.
- Credit is applied after the core is received and verified at our facility.
- An on-site contact is required for core pickups so freight can be coordinated.
- Cores should be intact lead-acid industrial batteries — drained and crack-free where possible.
Why it matters
Refurbishing and recycling battery cores keeps thousands of tons of lead and plastic out of landfills every year. It's the sustainable choice — and it puts money back in your budget. We mention it; we don't preach it.
